What is there to sing about?

What is there to sing about? How about your greatness, or the gift nature, or the love of a friend. Take a very deep breath, raise your voice to the heavens and go Skiing on the Moon. A song will take you there every time!!!!
Just the deep breathing involved with singing is a healing force. The lightheaded feeling is similar to meditation. I suggest you never miss the opportunity to belt out your best in the shower, grab the blow dryer like it’s a microphone as you style you hair, join in on your favorite CD and best of all….participate like you have the lead roll when you watch your favorite Musical. I guarantee you will feel exhiliarated. Singing does that for you, yes it does.

Ski Teal We Drop

Skiing on the
Moon now has a signature nail polish called "Ski Teal We Drop." It’s
a beautiful deep mermaid color, and part of OPI’s new Swiss collection available
in August. OK, so OPI didn’t design it for us or maybe they did and they
just don’t know it.

Skiing at the Amusement Park

My daughter came up with a wonderful analogy for getting into the zone. Imagine that you are at an amusement park. There are so many wonderful things to do there, so many that you can barely choose. You are safe to roam around freely because your parents are there. You can’t get lost because you can’t leave the park without your parents. If you need them, you can just announce where you are. You don’t have to worry about money. Your parents have brought plenty for whatever you want to do. If you need some, you only need to ask. In fact, your parents give you money to start with. “Have a good time,” they say, “Come to us when you need more.” You have only to decide WHAT you are going to do, not when you can, if you can, or how you can. So go Ski!

Be the change…..

“Action and reaction, ebb and flow, trial and error, change – this is the rhythm of living. Out of our over-confidence, fear; out of our fear, clearer vision, fresh hope. And out of hope, progress.”~Bruce Barton~ Embrace the change and the challenge. It’s hard to Ski on the Moon without them.

And a door closes, but this window is big enough to Ski through . . .

I want to wish the contestants who made it to the third round a hearty congratulations, and even though there can be only one sun (or one moon*), this competition launched thousands of stars. My star is Susan, and I will always be grateful this competition forced her to throw her skiing cap in the ring. I can’t wait for the book because, oh yes, there will be one.
*which we will ski on
